Thoughto is an application designed to help users capture, organize, and manage their thoughts. We respect your privacy and are committed to collecting as little information as possible.
Thoughto is designed to keep your thoughts and collections on your device. We do not intentionally upload or store the content of your thoughts or collections on our servers during normal use of the application. Thoughto may collect limited technical and usage information through analytics services to help us understand how the application is used, identify problems, and improve the application. If you voluntarily submit feedback through the application, you may also choose to provide additional information such as your feedback message, email address, or an image or screenshot.
Thoughto stores data locally on your device to provide its core functionality. This may include thoughts and notes, collections, pinned items, archived or deleted items, application settings, theme preferences, and other information required for the application to function. This locally stored content is not intentionally transmitted to our servers during normal use of the application.
Thoughto can be used without an internet connection. Your thoughts and collections do not require an internet connection to be stored or accessed. The application may use an internet connection for services such as analytics and, if you choose to use it, submitting feedback.
Thoughto uses analytics services to understand how the application is used, measure feature usage, identify technical issues, and improve the application. Analytics may collect limited information such as app usage and interaction events, application version, device and operating-system information, timestamps, and other technical information necessary for analytics and diagnostics. We do not intentionally send the content of your thoughts or collections to analytics services. Thoughto uses Google Firebase Analytics as one of its analytics services and may also use its own analytics system to collect application usage information.
Thoughto may provide an optional in-app feedback feature. If you choose to submit feedback, you may voluntarily provide a feedback message, your email address if you would like us to contact you, and an image or screenshot to help explain an issue. Feedback information is used to understand problems, respond to users when appropriate, and improve Thoughto. Please avoid including sensitive or private information in screenshots or feedback submissions.
If you choose to use the Share feature, the selected content is shared only through the applications or services you choose on your device. Thoughto does not receive or store the content you share through this feature. We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by third-party services used by Thoughto, such as analytics or feedback services, for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Thoughto may use third-party services to provide analytics and other functionality. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies. Third-party services used by Thoughto may include Google Firebase Analytics. Additional services may be added as Thoughto develops.
Your thoughts and collections are stored locally on your device. We take reasonable measures to protect information transmitted through services used by Thoughto. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device and any backups you create.
You can delete individual thoughts, collections, and other locally stored data using the application's features. On most devices, uninstalling Thoughto also removes its locally stored application data. Analytics and voluntarily submitted feedback may be retained separately from the data stored locally on your device according to the retention practices of the services used by Thoughto.
Thoughto is a general-purpose application and is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through Thoughto, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Updated" date at the top of this page.
